The main thing is everyone is safe. I sure as hell wouldn't want it back, though...it would never be the same (I've been in a similar situation and my vehicle was repaired)

Glad your mother is safe, hope she doesn't have any problems after though since it's a head on into an oncoming car. Slow enough not to set off the airbags though?

As for the car, it doesn't look like it's totaled. Frame damage, pillars bent, the front of your car smashed in - these are crazy expensive and would probably label it as totaled. It looks like your bumper, grill, radiator, left front section, and some body panels would need to be done. As for the feel of the car, my first car had a worse accident than that and the feel was fine. I was told, again it may or may not be true, that as long as it's not the frame and you don't take it to a shoddy automotive shop, they normally can fix it to better than your old condition since they would use new parts.

Sorry to see that but glad to hear your mother was safe. Any description, license plate partials, or police leads on the car that was responsible?

It might not be totaled like some have said. It would help if the hood could be opened but it looks like you might have trouble with that At least everyone is okay though.

there were about 3 eye withnesess but non of them were able to get a plate number...

by the looks of it most of you guys were right... its NOT totaled, i showed pictures to my dad friend who owns a body shop and he said it looks the majority of it is just cosmetic damages. if it doesnt feel the same once its fix, most likely its gonna have to goo...

dont worry i still got an eye out for the 2011 IS in tha electric blue color!!!

its totalled. the whole car will probably have to be repainted to do it right, along with the damage to the rear quarter. if the rad support has any damage, its gonna be totalled with everything thats damaged on that car.

Lmao @ this thread.

Not the accident -- glad your mom is okay, but I was just laughing at how some people we so sure of the outcome of totaled vs not totaled.

Let us know what you decide to do with it.
