hi everyone. im a noob here. i was wondering if anyone knew if there was any brighter tailight bulbs for the is350 out there. like led bulbs or something. i tried reasearching for them and found nothing. if someone could give me an insight that would be great, maybe a size of the bulb or a link. . I had my tails tinted really dark with vht nightshades and even though i thought there was enough light coming through them the chp officer that pulled me over didnt think the same and gave me a fix it ticket. i removed the tint already and their back to stock but i would like to re-do them but maybe half as light but still would like to see if theres a brighter bulb i could get. sorry for the long write up but any help would be appriciated. heres a pick of how they looked like dark.

 

You can only change the bulbs out for your reverse lights and turn signals. The brake lights and everything else are all propriety, built-in LEDs (whether you have '06-'08, '09-
'10, '11, IS-F or eBay tails), meaning they can't be easily swapped out. You'd have to crack open the taillight and solder something different on.

 

dude just get the tailight overlays from aerotect thats what i have and u get the best of both.

yea im thinking bout it now. they look goood. is it just mee or do they look flat? like not glossy.

 

Imo, Tint is > film. Just get it re-done at 50%, or even 60-65% of the darkness you had before and you should be fine
