I would do this.cause 1. it's different than any regular OEM front lip
2. If you ever lower it, you won't get pissed if you scrape

Three or four clips and one drill hole for a screw. Each side.

It's super easy to install. When I installed, I didn't drill:

The lip came with 3 clips, one bolt, and a strip of double-sided tape per side. I pulled the bolts out with pliers, added a little more tape, and stuck them on. Then I used the provided clips to secure them to the bumper. I also drilled a few self tapping screws into the very bottom for good measure.

^ I didn't drill into the sides of the bumper as required by the installation procedure.

There's 1 screw on the side that is attached to the lip which you can yank off. The one on the bottom is a hole for you to screw in from the bumper to the lip. Does that make sense?

I actually have a picture!

On the bottom lip, you can see the screw poking out on the left side. You can pry that off.
Those raised boxy things are where you clip it to the bumper.
And there's a screw accepting-hole somewhere in there too.

You guys are funny. You ask to give you information about this front lip but you actually keep complaining about the price.

On the 09-2010 front lip, I'm doubting the price will ever drop. The front lip is only equipped on the Sport Package IS models whereas on the 2006-08 IS, the front lip was considered to be an "accessory". It was an accessory that was pre-painted from the factory and at one time there were well over 3,000 pieces available. For comparison, there's only 16 of the 09-2010 front lip spoilers in the nation as of today.

Needless to say, Lexus will now limit there risk being in the body kit business- it was a complete failure.

For those of you after the side GFX and are considering having them repainted, check out closeouts page (I believe the blue ones are just $60). For the rears we're painting them in our Lexus Body shop thus those are readily available.
