DRL moisture cover guard problem... can't get it back on.

Hi,
So I bought these to replace my drls

As you can see they come with a little module for each side. I saw a person or two talking about how you can tuck them in and then put the moisture guard cover back on. I can't seem to figure it out on my own :-/ and I didn't see any instructions with the vleds box or looking around on their site.

Any one know how to do it?

also - is it ok to just leave them off till warmer weather?

Definitely do NOT leave them off. Even just a change in temp from night to morning can create condesation in them. You can force the module down into the housing. It may be a tight fit, but it will go in. Just be sure to move all the wires out of the way before pushing the plastic portion into the gap that will be below the light itself.

It is a little difficult to get the covers back on, but there are tabs on one side of the cover that slide into grooves on the car. These tabs do not go into the large hole itself. If you try to put the tabs in the open hole the cover covers, it will not close. Be sure to use a bright LED light so you cansee what you are doing. If it is on correctly, it will go on fairly smoothly. The only difficult part may be moving the metal bar back over it to keep it closed. Just use both hands and pressure.
