smart key question
i'm pretty sure this is more of a safety measure. by having all four doors unlocked with a one press of the button, it makes it more accessible to strangers. i never even allow access to have all four doors opened until i know all my passengers are ready to get in because of that. my cousin had a mercedes c230, and after his graveyard shift he unlocks his car, which allowed all four to be opened. little did he know a thief got into his car, threatened him with a knife, and eventually took off with the car. scariest ish my cousin ever experienced, and i'm hoping no one ever experiences that same encounter.
its in a thread somewhere but i think all you have to do is lock the car then hold the lock and unlock button at the same time and it will change it. try it out... i did it myself... freakin dealer said they couldnt when i did my personalized settings
