You will see the location of the clips.
If the car is still under warranty everything can be fixed by Lexus dealer free of charge with the new parts Lexus has produced.
There is also a new rubber seal that goes to the the middle of the dash on the top of heat exchanger.
Cars made after 2008 don't have these problems because Lexus upgraded the quality of the clips (Rubber ones).
My car still does this and I have a 09, i'll get a loud pop form the center dash. The TSB listed says its for 07-08, is there one for 09?

You might bought it on 2009 but perhaps it was fabricated in 2008.
If you have the pop or rattle then the TSB is valid also for your ride

I took my 09 in for this cracking noise and if it cracks when they test drive it then they will fix it... if not then u may be outta luck. If u don't wanna take apart your dash then turn up the music. Lol

Is it best to push the dash up (jam stuff under the front lip) or push toward the back of the car? (jam between the windsheild and dash edge)?

Just booked the car in, They will give me a courtesy car while they take my dash apart. They had no problem with my concerns, just said they will install the new hardware, so it went as smooth as it can go. Can't wait, the rattlings driving me nuts

2008. I get the popping/cracking sound a few minutes after I shut off the heater. So yes, it's heat related of expansion/contraction. Dealer knows about it, but I haven't gone for the fix.

just got the car back from the dealership, been driving it for a few hours with no noise so far I guess Ill know better in the morning when I have to turn my heaters on and the dash wil expand. If it creaks again ill take it back and demand a new dash from a 2010 model, since the service manager is my good friend

I get these as well. Im going to try the eraser method since my cars out of the basic warranty period. does anybody have squeaking problems with the seats??? its only the driver seat and only happens when you enter or leave the seat on mine...Its even more annoying than the dash rattling.

I have a 4 month old 2010 and I get popping noise. No rattles at all jus a random pop that happens one time during a drive. My drives average about 15 minutes twice a day.

Believe it or not, what got rid of all my problems as piece of foam between the passenger door and edge of the frame. Got rid of all the squeaks pops and groans--just drove cross country after it and no noise. I was really happy because i had my kids who slept alot, and I had complete silence.
