Default Headlamp Protection

Has anyone tried any products to protect their headlamps. I have major road chips and some of them have chipped my car to the primer. I dont want a rock or road debris to crack my headlamps. So I am wondering about headlamp protection products. I have noticed a product from Sewell Lexus that seems to do what i want... http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...-2007-637.html

Has anyone tried or used a similar product like this one?

It states the product is 40mm thick, that seems to be too thick for me and It might stick out very noticeably, but I may try it because headlamp replacement may be very expensive compared to the $36.80 cost of the lamp guards.

Check Aerotect products. they make a clear bra ad well as head/fog lamp overlays it a couple colors.

I got my whole front end wrapped in 3M Venture Shield clear bra. It really is the best thing that you can do if you want to protect against rock chips/bug juice/bird poop. I got full front bumper, head lights, fogs, full hood, and side mirrors. It gets expensive, but its definitely worth it in the long haul. You can't even tell its on since full hood/full bumper hides the lines pretty well. You should look around for an experienced installer in your area.
