Im looking for something in my price range, under/around ~$150/rim because i just spent over a grand on tires.

Are there steelies that will fit our cars?
If you are getting steelies, might as well get the Varrstoen ES 2.2.2., $700 per set and it's ISX50 fitment. I have a set of these on my TSX, 19x8.5 all around, each wheel weighs just under 24 lbs each. They come in different finishes and the standard colour is matte black.

Yeah I'm having a hard time finding some that'll fit on the car. I'm gonna do without the TPMS seeing how it's just gonna be for winter and I don't think it'll be worth the extra $$$.
I'll check Canadian tire and see what they got for alloy wheels thanks. I forgot about them.

Thanks but I'm looking for 17s because that's the size of tires I ordered. 225/45/17 all around is what I'm getting.

If I can't find any inexpensive wheels for winter then I'm just gonna swap to my current stockies if it comes down to it then perhaps buy some nice aftermarket wheels for summer haha

If I'm honest with you, I'd put your TPMS in your winters, not your summers. Running low in winter is far worse than in summer due to the air pressure being lower in your tires due to the cold causing premature failure. I'd rather change a flat in the summer than the winter. I know there's snow from time to time down east I used to live in MTL and I know that changing a tire with no impact gun at -30C is the worst thing in the world. It'll cost you a few bucks to swap the sensors out, but the one day it saves you, you'll be thankful you did.

Just my two cents. Also, check out 1010tires.ca. It's a Canadian site so no brokerage/duties to pay and no PST/HST for out of province. We get just devastated on shipping costs here, so you might be able so snag a deal on there. Let me know what you come up with for your solution!

And what kind of wheels(rims) would you guys suggest for winter tires? not too pricy..

I asked my friend that works at a local tire shop around where I live and they said they don't have any steelies that will fit my car.. I don't believe this because I've seen other IS's around the city with steelies.

I just bought winter tires but have no rims for them... any help appreciated!
I got a set of "B Stock" TSW Thruxton's from a big chain tire place. they had some curb rash on them, but i didnt care. I actually just painted them for this winter. about time to put them on.

call around and see what you can find. I think I paid less than $100 per rim and they are 18x8's

Sorry for the late update but anyways, I ended up buying a set of Michelin X-ice (latest model, X2 i think it is) for $1000 at my workplace and got a bit of a discount.
As for the rims, I went to my local Kal-Tire and bought a set of CoreRacing aluminum rims for around $600 with tuner lugs. These rims were the cheapest I could find that would fit the car.

Tire spec: 225/45/17
Rim spec: 17x7, +40 offset

These tires have been great in the snow/ice since I've had them on my car

Winter tires MUST, it's pain in the butt, but if you hit the curb like I did last year, that wasn't funny at all.

Well if last nights trip home wasn't an awakening for snows I don't know what is. Not too many issues on the expressway but I barely made it up the un-plowed exit ramp. There was a lot of sliding and feathering of the pedal. I really thought is was going to get stuck at one point. Had the snow button and traction on, only 1/8th tank of gas and an empty trunk.
