People say the HKS Hi Power is loud, its not even that loud from my experience. Maybe because I usually drive with my windows up and music on? I might be bias but I like the HKS Hi Power. As far as the tip being to big, I don't really know or notice anymore.

On another note I hope to be young money some day, soon.

Well the reason the F Sport is loud is because the passenger side muffler is not a muffler at all but rather a straight pipe inside of shell. The driverside muffler is the only actual muffler on the system. I have the Lexus HKS exhaust which is identical to the F sport in everyway except the passenger side muffler is not a straight pipe or a muffler but actually a resonance chamber. I have this on my car and IMO is the best sounding exhaust the IS could ever have, it sounds perfectly matched. Has zero drone but sounds beatiful when you get on it or even partial throttle. When cruising on the inside it sounds stock. I'm not sure if they still sell this system or not, both the F sport and the Lexus HKS exhaust are make by HKS and have identical features on the outside, the difference is soley in th passenger side muffler which IMO is worth having a resonance chanber than a straight pipe.

Here's the link, don't get this confused with the F sport because it's not.

After 2 days of driving my 350 w/ the F-Sport exhaust (and F-Sport intake), I'm still pleased with it.

I will say that it is pretty loud around 2.5k RPMS, most noticeably in second gear. I wouldn't go back to stock, but I could live with it toned down a bit in 2nd.

It sounds great when just cruising around, no real drone, and it's especially viscous if you've been at high RPMs and let it slow down. Also a quick downshift (3rd @ like 60mph or 2nd at 40mph) it sounds nice and aggressive... "gurgle-y" (sorry to make up a word).

Someone said this before... but it really does give the car a whole new, more sporty character

YoungMoney does your passenger tip sit slightly further out that the drivers side? From the pic it looks like it does s mine does too, it's only about a 1/4 inch difference.

If I had to choose, I'd go with the Tanabe as it would be the nearest to stock, but after finally getting an aftermarket exhaust, it becomes a question of why. If you want nicer looking tips, as YoungMoney pointed out for his F-Sport, why not just buy the 3" tips and save $500+? If you want sound, why not just get your mufflers cut out, have a straight pipem abd save $600+? If you want performance (which is slight in general anyways), why get an axle back in the first place, and save yourself $700+? Personally, I was considering the Tanabe axle back and the Joe Z full catback, of which I went with the full catback.
