Sixth Mod: Luminics JDM Yellow DRLs

Jensennn, they do have other colors
but from what i've heard, all other colors running at 30% power at DRL mode still appears to be stock color due to the lack of power to push the bulb to its color (purple, white, blue)
i would have chosen the other colors as well if not for this reason
seems like the only bulbs that appear a different color in DRL mode are these JDM/hyper yellow ones
for sure big! i'm planning to compare the reverse LEDs to my parking LEDs i got from v-leds and see which are brighter. i'll put the brighter ones as my parking lights

@yahn0etran - the JDM integras inspired the current gen civics with the JDM yellow DRLs i see everywhere on the streets, which is what inspired me to do the mod
@omgswifty - yes! in the richmond hill area indeed! haha finally a CL member near me! do u remember which places you've seen me? must be the plasti dip surround giving me off lol as i still haven't seen any IS in my area with painted grille surrounds

Hey Silentwish, I'm diggin the mod upgrade and hope to do the same in the near future. I don't mean to sidetrack your thread but I notice you plastic dipped your obsidian black IS grill, which I was planning to do to, but my question is how many layers did you apply to blend the plastic dip black with the color of our IS?

hehe but actually i have the truffle mica color
i love this color cause under different lighting it looks like another color lol
in dim lighting it looks obsidian, in bright sunlight it looks purplish gray, at other times it looks SGM
for the plasti dip, i went paranoid and applied 5 coats lol with around 15 mins in between each coat.
but in reality i don't think we have to apply that many coats, 3-4 coats will do, i think 4 coats will be very solid~ 3 coats is alrite as well
i think 3 4 or 5 coats will end up being the same black color after it dries up so not to worry~
