I have always done my own oil changes on previous cars because I am pretty **** about other people working on my car. Plus, I use Mobil1 synthetic and people charge up the *** for synthetic oil changes. What kind of oil and filter do you guys use if you are doing it yourself. Are there any tips or tricks on a 2IS 250 or is it just pretty much the same as any other car? I was thinking about using my regular 5w-30 Mobil1 with a toyota filter or would any other filter be fine?

I still have one more complimentary free oil change by Lexus and I should be bring it in around January. After that, it's DIY for me.
