This is the most stupid thing i have ever seen. Flame on if someone actually by this? First off that's the whole point of the smart key system, leave in your pocket, push the start but and be on your way. why would anyone want to put in in a holder? If that's the case you may as well get rid of the push button start and just have a standard key ignition.

Not to those of us that don't have "pointless" mods done to our cars...

My FOB doesn't leave my pocket when I'm in my car; there is no reason for it too.

some people work at the office where they park in a secured underground garage and then they drive home to their own secured garage and may insert their key in this type of holder for a several days or weeks at a time. probably about 1% of us. lol

anybody in the family that wants to drive the car, the keys are in it.

it has some functionality, primarily for women i'd presume. many wear skirts and tight jeans and there is literally no room for a fob anywhere other than a purse. having it convenienly there in a cute holder might appeal to them. it sure did with my gf. on the other hand, it almost always stays in the pocket when i'm driving, so personally there's no use to have it anywhere else.

it would be useful if you bought the tom's zippo and put it in there.

It doesn't seem like a practical addition, either - how many people just carry the Lexus fob without other keys attached?
How much does "LX-Mode" logo add to their $1 plastic grille?

OP - I think it would be more work to take the key out of your pocket, put it in the holder and take it out again when you leave the car. I would understand if it was for aesthetic purpose but that makes it look worst. Of course that's my opinion.

Enter my house through the garage and keep spare house keys at a relative's house or hidden in the car.

I think it would be better if Tom just sat in the car with me and held my fob himself.
