My used Lexus IS250 has a soft, sticky dash that scratches and mars easily.

I went to my local Lexus dealer asking the service adviser to take a look on it, he says he has never seen this kind of stuff before and he's helpless - bulls...t!!.
I've been told to call Lexus USA for assistance.
My car is out of warranty and now I am in deep s..t!!!
I've trusted Lexus so bad now I am disappointed as f....!!!
Edit: Nevermind!!! Here they comes: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-replaced.html

Went to my dealer the day after Christmas to get a couple recalls done and while I was there, I asked me service rep (who was new to me. I think all the reps that were at this particular dealer moved to the new dealership that recently opened downtown) about the upcoming recall for the dash/door panels, and he said he hadn't heard anything about it. Luckily, as I was getting in my car, the service rep asked a manager about the recall, and the manager had heard about it. After talking to them both for a couple minutes while sitting in my car, they said they'd initiate the process of getting the claim filed and the parts sent to the dealer to have them installed.
Got an email a couple days later from my rep and he said that the parts were ordered and they will hopefully arrive sometime in January.
Suhweet!

I got my notification in the mail yesterday. Today I will send them the required docs to see if they'll reimburse me for the $1000 I spent to replace the dashboard last year. If that happens, I will definitely consider the matter settled to my satisfaction. I'll also seriously consider purchasing a new RC F instead of an Audi S5.
....fingers crossed......
I really like the RC.

Refund information
Hi everyone...I was one of the fortunate ones to get Lexus to pay for the dash while I paid for the labor. I wrote my local dealer when they were going to send me a check. They said I have to send information to corporate to get my refund. I paid the dealer, not corporate, so you would think that the dealer could cut me a check, but no, have to jump through more hoops. I was told that I'll have to send a copy of my repair invoice and proof of vehicle ownership (copy of title).

Got the same letter!
I bought my used 2007 IS 350 in August 2014 (not from a lexus dealership). I recently took my car to get it's first oil change in my possession and boy were there lots of recalls missed due to previous owner not taking it to the dealership for maintenance. My service advisor totally ordered all the crap on my same walk-in visit and gave me a new 2015 IS 250 loaner car. I felt like I was almost stealing being treated so good and I didn't even buy the car from them. Lol.
