Default Favorite accessory (for the money)?

What's your favorite or most recommended IS accessory for the money?

My personal fave is the wallet key.......nice to not have to even carry the key fob in the pocket.

What's yours?

yes, and thanks for the welcome.

I have a 2009 IS 250 AWD, midnight sapphire, max tint windows, black/grey two tone interior, navigation and luxury package. I love the car, and get compliments on it all the time. as mentioned, i can't imagine the car without the wallet key. For $200, it should be standard, or at least something offered at the dealer. i get the sense many people (although not here!) don't even know you can get one for the IS.

I'm certainly not a "tuner", but don't mind an occasional useful accessory or add-on. Was considering the illuminated sill plates as well. I also saw a carbon-looking grill on an IS the other day I liked a lot.

Anyway, was interested in hearing what other people like and think represents a good value choice. Yes, $2K IS-F wheels look great.......but the regular IS wheels are nice too, so not sure there's tons of value to that change.....nor do I particularly care to pretend my 250 is an IS-F.......it's not! Saw an IS-350 at the dealer the other day with an IS-F appearance package......looked nice, but seemed kind of half-a** to me........wasn't that much cheaper than the IS-F either by the time they were done, but still didn't have the engine.......if you want the IS-F, don't pretend! Sorry, stepping off the soap box now.

What's everyone's best tips?

F-Sport rear sway bar for the RWD's. Best ~$250 installed accessory, so much less body roll compared to stock, and its something you use every single day (unless you don't make any turns).

IMO the best investment should be clear bra on the hood and front bumper to avoid rock ships, lexus paint is very thin....

i think the best add on for the money is the sway bars or the f-sport intake. or you can do the joe z intake too.

also changing out the interior lights to LED bulbs is another one i can think of. something about the weak stock amber light that comes on after you enter the car kinda bothers me.

in any case, welcome to CL and happy modding =)

600k HIDs $225
Red Horde symbol vinyl stick on the back window - $5
All interior + puddle lights to LED green - $40

Also, what is this wallet key I've been reading about? I looked and its $80 on sewell (http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...-2010-161.html). Does it still contain the magnet or how does it work? It would be easier to not carry my key around but I love love love the fact that all it takes to open my door is two fingers inside the door handle.

^ that's just the blank key, which will need to be cut to your VIN. you'll also need the smart card itself.
