OK, I got in my IS350 yesterday and noticed that the words "CURRENT" and "MPG" were not lined up. The MPG seems to be 4 or 5 pixels lower on the display. I believe that it used to be lined up but maybe my memory is going. Check out this picture of it:
Like sangomaru said, it's completely normal.
It's a shame these cars don't come with owners manuals, because if they did, Lexus could put a picture of that "Current MPG" screen right on page 111.
