Yeah, when I was shopping for my 2IS a couple months back it was a pain. The 2IS here in the central/southern US are selling very quickly. The dealer had my 2IS in stock for about 1 week before I bought it, and he said he was surprised the car was still there when I went back to go buy it about 2 days after I test drove it. I couldn't find one single 2IS with ML either, and I looked extensively.

I'd say you got out just fine.

Is it just me or... I want to see the park assists in action and I can never get it to work. Do i have to get REALLY close? I have the sensor set at the farthest setting.

Are you trying the back sensors or the front? The back sensors on my car work really well, and go off from a few feet away. If you can't get them to go off, then something might be wrong with your system. (Make sure the Park Assist system is on, i.e., green indicator in dash lit). The front sensors are in the corner of the bumper, and tend to trigger when I am pulling into a tight bank ATM lane, rather than when there is an obstacle directly in front of the vehicle.
