no offense, but if you make a suggestion like this and not explain why, it has no merit. leasing is actually a viable option for most people who know how to invest their money properly. for example, IF you had 50k to throw at a car and instead, invested it wisely making around 6-8%/year, your lease would almost pay itself off. leasing is a great idea for some and a terrible idea for most.

My next car will be a vette or a m3, both are beasts (though the vette can be more). You definitely get your moneys worth with the vette. Make sure to post pics!

I'd stay away from the 05, 06+ and an 08+ if you can swing it. 2008+ had the LS3 and some improvements in steering feel. Interior is still crap but what're you gonna do. OH and get the F55 if you can, it's almost magical what it can do.

One of my potentials is an '05! haha But its okay, this isnt the first time I've been warned against them, but there's plenty of good feedback as well. The other on my list is an '07. I understand the big push from people telling me to get the LS3 in the '08... but really, I dont need or wont miss the extra 36 ponies.

Found two C6's I like (can post pic's if anyone is interested ), and will be deciding soon, just waiting to hear back from my bank.

So Club Lexus wont be my home for much longer...

Vette's are sick! Black zo6's with black rims are straight up nasty! get corsa sports or extremes with some kook's headers!

Congrats! I love my C6. I do have 2 cars though. This week I drove the 335 once, the vette the other 4 days. That's how much I like it. If I drive the 335 more than twice a week, I get vette withdraw.

So far the C6 has been extremely reliable. And a blast to drive.

Lots of C6 love on this thread, so might I bring some IS love back...

I was recently at Commerce Dragway with my IS350 and my friends 2005 C6 Vette, and we raced the 1/4 mile 5 times against each other, with the Vette losing every single time...and not just losing by a nose, losing by car lengths...and yes he knows how to drive...

So if people out there are really contemplating between the comfort of the IS and the performance of the Vette...just get a IS350 (or if you can splurge, the IS-F) and have the best of both worlds!!!

Just my $.02....
