Hi, I was wondering if anyone who has gone through the process of replacing their gas/break/dead pedals has any tips or warnings?

I found a set of carbon fiber pedals on eBay for $50 and figured it's a pretty cheap mod that might improve performance (increased grip).

go with the OEM sports pedals....

 

Any particular reason why? I know they exist, but I prefer carbon fiber unless there is some down fall.

 

Performance?......Looks maybe definitely not performance.
