Doesn't require it. Sticks on the front bumper with 3M tape and maybe a couple screws in wheel well.

I'm trying to decide between the same two front lips as well. Leaning toward 5 Axis after reading all these responses. Tough decision though!

Really? I heard multiple people say it needs the OEM lip to fit right. Can someone confirm?

you know my opinion brociouz.. c(: but ya i actually deviated from that plan, i recently picked up radicalrev's auto couture front lip (btw will post a thread soon asking for CL's opinion) but if youre looking for a place to purchase other than l-tuned, Kerry from Westminster lexus also can order it! goodluck!

From that dark blue IS? I swear, we have near identical tastes haha. I almost picked that up too, but didn't want to deal with repainting something.

haha no sht? ya from the dark blue IS, i mean for the price I got it for its still worth repainting. That 5axis front lip is not as budget friendly as i thought it was

The Five Axis lip was designed to fit over the OEM (non-GFX) lip. I suppose you could mount it without, but it wouldn't be very sturdy, as it was designed to use the OEM lip for support.

is it just held on by some heavy duty 3m or will there be screws needed
