Default Grinding noise when turning with light braking

Sometimes when i turn left or right with light braking i would hear grinding or ticking noise from the front

its coming from the outside so it sounds like the brakes or the suspension area

anyone know what this is ?

i am running on fsport springs

You probably just have a rock stuck in your brakes. I've had this happen before on my Camry.

Similar problem, I've attributed it to tire noise at this point, but going to have it looked at in the next week or two, will let you know.

I have an '08 250 and get a ticking or creaking noise. Dealer heard it and replaced pads and rotors but never went away. I brought it back last moonth and they could not figure it out and opened a problem ticket with Lexus Corporate- haven't heard anything since so I will follow up. That and the poor idle perhaps due to carbon buildup (persisting after top engine cleaning) are quite annoying.

I've been experiencing the same issue as described. Sounds like it's coming from the brakes and not the suspension. I have BCR Racing coils and upgraded brake rotors (slotted) & brake pads.

Not sure if our issue is the same, that's why I've listed my suspension and brake setup to isolate the problem. Didn't have this until recently...

I have the same brake clicking problem, but it only happens at the start of each car journey. Subsequent braking doesn't make a sound, unless I park and come back after a while then it will click once more at the start of that journey. =/

I particularly notice mine when turning left or right and braking at slow speeds such as turning into a driveway or a parking space. Passengers in my car have commented "Yikes" since sometimes it is so noticeable if stereo off and windows open.

Probably should have mentioned I only have 20K miles and noise has been going on since 17k. They replaced the pads and rotors then but noise still present with no change.

Mine is all stock. Did not due this when new. Mine is kind of a loud clicking/ creaking sound. Dealer has heard it as well but can't seem to figure it out.

I have this same noise. It sounds like it is coming from the front drivers side brake/suspension area. I know it not the brakes, only because when I pull into a parking spot right hand turn into it. I hear the creaking. It is metal to metal contact as if something isn't lubricated to well. I have a 07 IS250 w/ 43k .

I have an 08 is250 AWD and I am getting the same thing as most of these posts. The sound is somewhere in between the plastic sound of a front bumper scraping on a curb and something slightly metallic. It doesn't always happen, only sometimes. 80% of the time when turning slightly left, but sometimes straight ahead and right as well. No idea what this is, but I dropped my car off at the dealership yesterday and will hopefully hear from them today... Has anyone figured this out yet?
