"Range approx" number
check your tire pressure. Usually when it's low you get about 30 miles less.
I have 06 350 and i've got as high as 440 a tank before i hit the zero mark.. of course not every time.
I use to hit 390 to 410 before i fill up but now i get about 380. The car is old so ... understandable.
maybe time for new spark plugs...

FWIW, I drive an '06 250 with 68K miles.

Something strange, I was at 2 miles to empty,
then I went to get 1 gallon of gas it was very late at night.
It didn't change the number or move the needle.
Then the next morning I went to get 2.5G of gas it changed to 105 miles to empty right away.
It it possible I didn't get the 1 gallon of gas the night before because the gas station messed up or was actually closed? I was paying at the pump itself.

I have a 2010 350. Currently has 3700 miles on it. Each fill up, I get 300-310 miles. Do I still need to break it in more before I start seeing higher MPGs or longer range?
My lifetime MPG is 20.
My tank average is 18-20 mpg for each fill up.
I like to keep my Current MPG on the display while I drive. I make every effort to drive as efficiently as possible. I do notice that when cruising on the highway at 60-70 mph, the meter would show 30-35mpg. During city driving, I can get 20-30mpg.
I'm not too satisfied with gas mileage that I'm getting! I'd say my driving is 50-50 highway-city. I drive like a granny (RARELY going over 3k on the tach).
What's worse: Taking a long time going from 0-50mph at a snail's pace or going up to 50 at a comfortable pace without taking too long (while not flooring it)?

If I remember correctly, 460+. I'll check next time I fill up. I have run a few tanks past 0 covering an actual 450 miles. 250 FTW! My lifetime AVG has never been reset for 11,000 miles and sits on 31.0 MPG.
Believe it or not, I drive about 80% city. My technique for good mileage is 'Driving Without Brakes'. It mostly involves coasting up to red lights. Better yet, time them so you don't have to stop at all. Accelerating kills your mileage. Try your best to keep a steady speed.
This also helps because the gas cuts off when you coast. You will see the Current MPG go to 90 (actually infinity). I think the way the IS automatic gearbox is designed, you get engine braking in gears 4, 5 and 6, so when you coast, the wheels are turning the engine and no gas is needed above idle speed.

I've always wanted to do this but it's insanely challenging for me, because it requires maintaining a safe distance between myself and the car ahead, and every time I attempt that some moron lane changes in front of me causing me to drop back more. If I didn't stake my claim now and then, I'd end up never getting to my destination.
i get somewhere between the range 320-340 on my AWD, i drive a lot of local also. and ive heard that even after the range apprx hits 0 you still have about 20-40 miles? i believe this is true cuz when i am at 5-10 miles till empty only about 15 gallons of gas would fill up my tank and i guess 2 gallons are for emergency use
