Default PPE Engineering DISCOUNTS ON HEADERS!

I emailed these guys to find out if their headers will fit my 2is. and this is the reply i got.

"Hi Kyle,
Our IS350 headers will fit the IS250, but we have just come out with the IS250 version (they are designed to work better with the IS250).

We are just about to anounce a group buy for the IS250, IS350 and GS350/GS300('06) headers.

Retail prices are $640 for the headers and $240 for the cats.

1-9 people = 5% off
10-19 orders = 10% off
20+ orders = 15% off

We also offer and recommend the JetHot ceramic coatings. Prices are $148.75 for the Polished ceramic and $212.50 for the Black. These prices are already discounted and do not change with quantity orders.

If you would like to get in on it, we will need a $100 deposit and we can take Visa, Master Card or Paypal sent to netsales@ppeengineering.com
We will run the group buy for 4 weeks and after that we will build all the headers ~ 2 weeks. We require the rest of the money after they are done and ready to ship.

Adding the ceramic coating will add about 1 week to the build time.

If you give me your zip code, I can quote you on shipping.

Best Regards,"

^^^ Yes, ridiculous power.

In all honesty, the first thing that I noticed was the sound. Not too raspy, but throaty and loud. I think it's "settled" down a bit since, or maybe I've just gotten more used to it.

I did not notice a huge burst in power, although an extra inital quickness seemed to be available. I believe that most of the extra HP is located at the higher RPMs, which can be difficult to assess with the butt dyno. I had no problems smoking a modded (intake, exhaust) Acura TL-S, if that helps. I would like to schedule a dyno session to see if I get close to the ~280-285 whp that AZ_JB is putting down with his set-up.

^^^ Are you referring to emissions checks? You can order the headers with hi-flow cats.

Mine are running cat-less, but I'm not too worried about it. When I need to redo my emission inspection in two years, I'm sure I can find a friendly mechanic. I just passed my VA State Inspection a couple weeks back, but VA isn't as strict on visual inspections as CA.

Which are still illegal in all 50 states.

Removing a working OEM cat, even if you replace it with a different working cat, is a violation of federal law.

But yeah, they might sneak by a lazy inspector doing a visual check.

This is great news!

As a supporting vendor and a legitimate company PPE Engineering has done something good for all of us looking for moderate performance gains. For under the price of an F-Sport exhaust you're looking at getting real numbers in HP/TQ increase. I trully hope the changes and accomodations for the IS250 headers stand out. This should be good news for both IS250/IS350 owners looking to increase power output and change up the overall exhaust tone.

I for one am definitely jumping on this. Group buy on a discounted mod that really makes a difference, yes please!

If PPE Engineering can also post up IS250 dyno numbers this will attract buyers a lot more.

Interested in a GB. Does the CEL go off with these? Remember reading that before...
