Hey guys i know i shouldnt post in IS category but I really need Help. I got a 99 lexus es300 and my speedometer isn't working. I checked the speed sensor and it looks like thats not the problem either. all the lights on the cluster are on and working fine but the only problem is my sppedometer wont mark mph and miles travled. Can anybody help me out? Im in socal and need help bad.

 

Yikes! I'm not an expert but my guess is that you need to have it replaced.

The same thing happened on my sister's 96 Honda Accord. Her speedometer and odo meter died. She didn't replace it until the last life of extended warranty.

Did you check the cables on the cluster to see if everything is connected tightly?

Maybe someone with experience can help...

 

Did you get any codes? Maybe vss? Vss could be working but did you check the input to the pcm?

Did you mess with the speedo?
