Rattles and TSIBs?
I have owned my 2007 IS 350 for about a month now and I have been pulling my hair out with all these rattles. I think there are 3 areas so far...
1. Rattle from the sliding cover over the ash tray
2. Glove compartment
3. Rear view mirror
Does anyone have similar experiences? If so, anyway I can resolve these rattle issues?
Also, is there a list of TSIBs applicable for my car?

My dash only rattles when it's cold. When the interior warms & expands the rattles go away. Only one for me that is pissn me off is, I think my passenger side mirror. That one is gettn to me. I think my puddle light is loose & the mirror it self.

Just got my 07 back from dealer. Got dash rattles, mirror vibration fixed (replaced) under warranty. They found dash rattle in three different spots and they placed extra insulation, changed clips to rubberized ones, and pretty much rebuilt dash. They also found that front shock was rattling and changed that too. Now absolutely quiet, no rattles. Thanks Lexus of Englewood!

All right, I am going to take it in as my car is under warranty. Any dealers in So Cali someone can recommend? Hopefully they will give me a loaner.

hey senjinro. I had the same rattling problem with my dash and my rear view mirror was shaking exessively with the sun roof open. Took my car to lexus of westminster and got it taken care of. Charlie was my service advisor and he took good care of me. Plus it took 3 days n he gave me a loaner for those days. Make sure you arrive early so there are loaner cars for you. Reason it took so long was cause they had to replace the rear view mirror n it took 2 days to get it in. Hope you get everything taken care of.

Thanks for the posts. Also, I just noticed today that whenever I reverse down my driveway there is a somewhat loud "pop" sound from right rear (i think) when going over where the driveway meets the street (basically, an uneven transition). I thought it was something in my trunk, but nothing moved back there. Anyone experience the same thing?

I've got the same problem and finally figured out it's my sunroof. When I hold it firmly anywhere on the right side it doesn't rattle. Wish I would've figured this out and the instrument cluster rattle before i run out of the factory warranty.
