Looks like the OP bolted, although he last logged in late last night. I guess he's refusing to give us any more information.

I'm sure the IS must be his because remember seeing him post in the classifieds a long time ago selling his wheels and exhaust.

Facts:
  • How the IC looks doesn't credit or discredit anything he said
  • The side marker = the car is from the Far/Middle-East
The car's origin could indicate the owner's origin as well, hence the language barrier. My guess, the guy is legit and I have no reason to suspect otherwise. He is most likely to be in the US (SUV in the Far East? JDM license plates in the Middle East? I don't think so!).

His engine could be any of the 2.5/3.0/3.5L engines or even swapped. His SC setup is probably a custom kit with a LMS SC and some universal parts (including the IC). I personally know of a 2Gen IS300 with a highly modified 2JZ engine and a supra manual trany...

not every IS modification is on CL nor is offered to the US market, so go easy on the guy

For you guys saying, where you get a JDM ECU from in a LHS car... please don't assume there are no JDM ECU/LHS cars rolling around in the united states cuz there are~ LOT OF THEM, i just need to walk into my garage to see one

I think I've encountered him a couple of times on the 405 going south and once heading into the Lexus of Westminster Service Dept. parking lot. It is a definitely good looking ride for sure!

That TOM's sticker looks tacky, much less the uneven clamps. Is that front plate necessary? Even at the cost of covering up the fog light?

I'd love to see more/better pics though!
