i wont be racing him with passengers in our cars, just take em with us to some place and race with only us, but might have a little "racing" on the way

that rule only applies for 'P' platers, in australia it goes like this:

when u go for ur license, u do a knowledge test, and if u pass, u get ur 'L's (learner) license, can go for it when ur 16 or over
with this license u can ONLY drive with someone that already has a FULL license, like ur parents or someone like that
you have to do 120 hours of driving, 20 at night, and have ur 'L's for atleast one year, and ur not allowed to drive faster than 80km/h

then after that year, and 120 hours of driving, you go for a driving test, and if u pass, u get a Provisional 1 license, these are red 'P' plates (just a sqaure thing u put on the front and back of ur car) with a speed limit of 90km/h, and you can drive by yourself

after a year on your red P's u go for anther knowledge test, and if u pass u get ur green 'P' plates (Provisional 2 license, speed limit 100km/h)

then after another year on your green P's, you finally get a full license

with your P plates ur limited to non turbo, non superchaged, and cant have a car with 8 or more cylinders, or over 270hp (so even tho the E46 M3 and IS350 have only 6 cylinders and its non turbo, u cant drive it cuz its over 270hp)

pretty gay rules IMHO
cuz the thing is, you ca drive anything on your L's, lol, so you can learn in a Lambo LP640, but cant drive it on your P's, lol

and the 350's are coming out here at the end of this year

also, i think a closer race would be my friends BMW 325ci E46 and 528i E39

the power limit for new drivers is a good step in the right direction. we have the graduated learning system too but no real limits.

if i have kids in the future, i'm making them drive a prius or a 1.5L yaris. let's see you go racing in that.

So how old are you?

I would assume by the time you can drive a 350 you will have the mean to buy it right? And not some upgrade present from your parents.

If you can buy it by your own means then please go ahead and race and drive as reckless as you want, but don't be badass and race your rides when its not even yours.

LMAO!
his getting his car in the next few weeks, his parents gave him 5k, and his putting in around another 5k, so 10k to spend on a Passat

also, buy the time i get my full license and can drive any car, without restrictions, i'll probably leave the lexus scene, and go for a Nissan 370Z or EvoX

or just keep the IS250, till i save up more, and get a Nissan GTR R35, could take a while tho to save that much, :P

alright kids, it's going to be a slow one.

I had a manual 02 1.8T Passat. Unless he's chipped then he's got a chance.

Passat more fun than is250 though. The the feel small turbo is fun to drive.

Don't compare a '98 car versus a '06 car's style. Passat's style were money for a 4 door family car back then. Compare a Passat CC to the IS, that's more of a comparison.

tell your friend he's going to have some parts to repair often lol.

Good points, my friend's Audi 1.8T is in the shop this week with a blown head gasket with less than 70K on the odometer.

Don't race with passengers in the car, cause if they die, it's going to be on you. Didn't we learn anything from dumb rich kids like Nick Hogan.

The new ones are, this thread is about a twelve-year old one. I think this PissAnt owner just likes talking trash, tbh.
