So instead of painting the chrome trim around the front grille, I've considered trying a carbon fiber wrap so that if I ever wanted to convert back to stock I can remove it after a year or two.

Here's my question, what will the condition of the chrome grille be after the 3m dinoc wrap has been applied for a year? Will the chrome still be there or will the wrap cling to the clear coat or chrome that's on the grille surround and rip it off when I remove the wrap?

Will my grille surround still be the same after I remove the wrap in 2 years?

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!
