Default fixing a broken shark fin antenna

hi. first time poster long time lurker. i usually frequent my.is. anyhow, is there a do-it-yourself fix for a broken shark fin antenna? i just need to attach the black plastic base onto the roof of the car. here is how it looks right now.

That looks like the top fell off.

yes the top fell off and it's easy to attach. however, before i do it i need to fix the base (that black plastic) and re-attach it to the roof on the car. right now, there is a big gap between the roof and the black plastic.

from what i know you have to take off your headliner
