Hey guys Im thinking of covering my roof with CF vinyl
from aerotect. My IS is Black(202,212) and currently working
on modd'n it. Let me hear your feedback...

Hmm I'd say don't unless you are planning on doing more than the roof or have more cf parts.

If your gonna do more than the roof go with it. Ive seen some cars with it done and it looks good. especially on dark color cars.

 

i wouldn't do the roof unless you're doing the same to other parts of the car.

I am doing mine soon with polish black...and also ordering Aerotect.

 

Any plans for the hood and trunk too? That would look sick.

 

if your going to be doing the other cf wraps, then the roof would go along perfectly with it

 

If you can safely remove the vinyl, why not? CF is badass!

Do it and post some pics of the finished product. Bet it will turn out well.

 

Do your roof, Do your grill, do your pillars, and buy an oem gfx kit and wrap that too. That would look sick. Maybe cf roof spoiler hood n trunk. That was my cf vision for the is, but i decieded to take a different route.

 

Make sure it'll last on the exterior first. Search the guy that did it and see if it's holding up.
