nice ride man! the panoramic setting looks great. ive always been a sony guy myself. very high quality point and shoot cybershots as well as the dslr cameras. had my cybershot for a good eight years (since 8th grade), and i recently bought its dslr just this past winter. it is absolutely amazing. the pictures seem to be more vivid and detailed, especially with a macro lens, something not even a high zoom from a point and shoot can truly accomplish.

Ya the panorama shot is pretty cool, when i seen it i had to have it because it will be awesome to get a full shot of the resort/beach that Im staying at, Im also spending the night in Toronto in a high rise building so Im gonna get a panoramic shot of the city at night. The only problem with it is if something is moving in the shot it messes it up and the quality isnt the greatest. But yeah Im a sony guy aswell, best quality products around.

Haha thanks for the help with DSLRs guys, Im not much of a photographer so maybe the point and shoot is perfect for me, maybe when i have children ill go out and get me DSLR, I cant justify over a thousand dollars to take a few pics of my car haha

Look around and do some research before buying one to ensure you find one that fits you...if you have any questions on a particular one, PM me and id be more than happy to help
i've been looking at the olympus e420 and the cannon rebel xs, both entry level dslr that are under $500. they have good reviews too. but they've been on the market for quite a while now.
