Congratulations. 2006 FWD acura TL to a RWD (you will love this, say bye to torque steer that comes with FWD) 300 HP luxury sport sedan that does 0 to 60 in 4.7-4.9 sec. How does it feel? Put a big smile on my face too (hell it still does...at least up until the point I get nailed with a speeding ticket )
Just so you can revel in what you are coming to and compare it to what you used to be in -

Although the TL in that comparison is an '07 which I believe has more HP/better performance than the '06 TLs. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
Like others have said, let the modding begin.

Thanks guys! I'm getting the windows tinted on sat, i'll post pics then It's the silver with black/wood. I will miss my heated seats/bluetooth but it is tough finding a 350 at a good price around here.
Luckily I found the Continental DWS 18" tires at a pretty good deal. Now I'm looking at radar detectors. Escort 9500ix....
I really can't think of any other mods I would like. It's fast, comfortable and a smooth ride. Glad I didn't go with the G35 or maxima!

Big difference between the TL and the IS 350. I came here from an Acura TL 2004 and I still can't believe how much better the IS 350 is. I know it is more money, but the difference is much greater than the difference in cost. Enjoy your new IS.

Gear the F-sport rear sway bars as your first modification. You will decrease body roll significantly and will increase handling capabilities in the IS. You'll definitely feel a difference.
It will stiffen up your ride though the ride might be a little bit harsher, but you gotta make the decision if you would be fine with that in exchange for improved handling.

Pics of my new toy- I'm looking at spoilers on ebay. I don't want to drill. Does the 3m tape really hold it in place? I also need an extra key.
I did the seatbelt alarm tweek- nice. It has 52,500 miles but it came with the 100k warranty. Do you think the lexus dealship would do the rear view mirror/brake TSBs?
