I agree with mdgrwl. I just and got an angle grinder and sliced that metal piece off and had to cut a little bit of my fender liner cause it kept on hitting.

My is stock suspension and ok with it but the most I'll drop is 1" on BC Racing next mod

Yeah with that drop you'll be fine and not rub. But for those of us trying to slam our cars or at least completely eliminate tire gap and tuck a little front and rear it seems as though it's almost impossible to do without rubbing issues. I finally just evened out (well mostly even) my drop yesterday and had the fenders rolled, some of the fender liner removed, and bumper tab relocation and I still rub on tiny dips. And it sucks because I know of there are other IS owners that dropped the same or even lower and claim to not have any issues with rubbing. I guess I just gotta keep on modify the fenders..
