I'm working on getting a set of TSW Indy 500 rims in 19x8 (F) and 19x9.5 (R). They offer two types of offsets from 20 right to 40. I see a lot of people running offsets in the 30's...like 36 and 38. I'm not too sure what to go with. I am going to be using 235-35-19 and 275-30-19 Nitto tires. Any help would be great, thanks!!
If you wanna be safe and no rub, go with the 40 offset. If you go with the 20s it will rub like crazy!!! The other guy was talking about spacers if you want to make it flush.

nah. offset is basically the point where you bolt on the rim in relation that point is within the width of the rim (or maybe even outside the width of the rim). in the case of +40 offset, the point where bolt on will stick further outward than say a +30 offset by 10mm. get it?
oh and to answer you question, get the +40 offset, +20 will rub.
I got it!! So I need to find out how long 9.5 and 8 across is in metic then add the +40mm to it and that is where the rim lays out in the wheel well. So...does anyone have pics of rims on the 350/250 with a +40 offset?
OH another question.. can I put a 285 or a 305 on the 19x9.5, with no rubbing in the rear wheel well? Also, does anyone know if the TSW-Indy 500 rims are TPMS compatible? Thanks
I'm looking at picking up some 18x7.5 and 18x8.5 +45 all around.
Is this offset ok for the 2IS or will it be a difficult fit and potentially need spacers?
weak sauce j/k....
you will want/need spacers with that. you could do 10mm spacers front and rear or go with a 5mm spacer in the rear if you really want those rims. If you can I would go with +33 front and +38 rear if that is an option for you.
