Pole Position
Was going through this thread and was curious if any were posted on craigslist here. Found a set, but they are waaaay too cheap to be real. I guess anything can be faked, how much do the real ones run? Someone was selling a set for $800 bucks (18x8).
also, how can you tell if they are fake or not if you buy second hand?

Answered my own question by looking on ebay lol. Ones I looked at are totally fake, but look like the real things.

they are not forged but they are light and strong nonetheless. you can check the vendor marketplace for deals and prices Originally Posted by speedywa

Not only that, but the RZ spokes taper to become thinner where they meet the wheel lip. That was the biggest visual difference for me between the RS and RZ. IMO, the RS spokes and design suit our cars a little better. But like any Advan, they ALL rock, so it's all good
Advan have a set of forged wheels called the F7. As far as i know they were actually produced by Rays, the same team who brought you Volk. While researching wheels i came across an elusive source (unfortunately the only source i could find, and have since forgotten) which listed their weight as actually heavier than the Racing RS/RZ/RG etc series by about a half pound or so (can't recall the exact figure)
The rest of the range are cast. But they are strong, and they are helluva light. So you arent giving up much by not going with forged wheels. Or at least the ones from Advan

^^I know they are light, and the appearance is good too, I'm in love with their wheels since the first time I knew them.
Since I have an AWD 2IS, I'm planning to get a set of 19x9 +35 for the front and 19x9 +25 for the rear, and will be using 235/35R19 for all four corners. A lot of people went with 19x10 with +35 in the rear which is somehow the same as 19x9 +25, am I right?
