i got the vinyl from redline, but if i redo it again i'll just order online. i ordered 4 ft wide by 8 ft long. i had like 2 ft extra to play with.

btw, you are from sugarland right? come out to the meet saturday. i'll love to check out your ride.

I had the same problem before and I used rubbing alcohol with cloth. It took too long to do it by hand so I used a wax machine with rubbing alchol and it worked. Try cleaning it on a small area first tho.

my good friend back in the F&F days LOL, had done some vinyl decals on the side of his car (when that was cool) so around 9 months later he goes to remove them. The decals came off and so did a big chunk of paint. He ended up having to repaint his car.

Good luck and keep us posted

First, what brand of vinyl was used? I work with vinyl all the time and have never had this problem even after 5+ years.

If you use cheap stuff of course it will leave residue, etc.

acetone is a no no to paint!

i had used 3M cross-etched in gloss black. 10-15 year warranty. it was deff not cheap stuff.
