Default How to drive with 19's?

I did a search but it seems there is no noobs like me asking this type of questions. I was wondering how to avoid damaging front fender driving with 19s with 'mild' offsets, and lowered. How do you turn in to a plaza if its not flat? How to back up to a up hill driveway? ...etc, questions like these.

mild offsets is 19x9 +40 front, 19x9 +34 rear. Nothing flush..

Thanks...

+1 on remembering road conditions. i do. i also take my time. if the first entrance is too steep, i drive around to find the next one if its lower. takes a lot of patience.

how low are you? cuz your offsets arent even considered 'mild' so my next question is, how big are your tires?

Any driveways with a diep or bump you have to go sideways (one wheel at a time) and make sure your wheels are straight until you know its safe enough to straighten out your wheels without bending your fenders. But remember if you're not scraping and you know you're suppose to, you're not LOW enough

As llamaoiz said, your wheels aren't a problem. It depends how low you've dropped, and you haven't provided any info on that yet. Springs? Coils? Bags?

when you lower a car and get wheels, you pretty much have to relearn driving cuz its not the same at all. key is to remember what roads are smooth. also when your lowered, you just have to accept that theres some driveways/enterances that you just cant go in anymore. best bet to get up steep slopes is go to on an angle. that will help from hitting your front end.

I don't know why I find is so amusing that people go through so much trouble to avoid scraping, but it makes me wary about lowering my car. I remember going to a car show and this guy asked someone to move his car so he could drive around a speed bump, then he got back onto the main road by driving backwards at an angle. What a PITA.

Anyway, I still would like to get some 19's on my IS350 with some coilovers for a moderate drop (just to close the wheel gap). Anyone have suggestions on offsets? I don't want any rubbing or fender modifications. Thanks!
