I agree. The roads are so ****ed up after it rains.

We live in an expensive society and our roads are in constant maintenance

The roads in CA took a major beating after the recent series of storms. All wheel sizes have been damaged by large potholes.

One wheel at a time brother!! Your still fairly high but even when I was at stock height I would scrape on some shopping center entrances, so best bet is to always be safe then sorry, but there are gonna be those times when scraping is unavoidable, just turn the radio up before you do, lmao!!

heres a very important question you need to answer first, do you like the NASCAR tire look or the Vipstretch? everything in lowering/offsets/tiresize is interconnected when asking about rubbing/to or not to fender mod. If you go Vipstretch you can run more agressive offsets at a low height without fender mods BUT if you like the NASCAR tire look you'll need more mild offsets and you cant run as low... without fender mods that is... what is a vipstrech? 225f on a 9in rim or smaller tire, 245r on a 10in rims or smaller tire.

Not sure what the NASCAR tire look is, can you please explain? I would like some lower profile tires (compared to stock), but nothing too extreme where a pothole would lead to broken teeth. I DON'T like the VIP stretched look where the edge of the rim is exposed. I was thinking 19x8.5 F and 19x9.5 or 19x10 in the back.

I drive a Jeep when the weather gets real bad and the potholes are more likely to surface.

But my preference is for a slightly beefier tire (F 235/35/19 on 8.5" and R 275/30/19 on 9.5"), no problems.

you'll be fine peter, your offset is not much more than mine, so no issues there.
