how do you guys position your jackstand under the car? I see that if you put it anywhere near the center line where the crease goes it will bend that crease and most jackstands at the tipe is a V shaped anyone got some pics as to how you position your jacks on all four corners? I think that should be a sticky lol

mine is the same way...it hits your skirts because youre goin straight in there.go in right inbetween your tire and the side skirt, then slide it over to the pinch rail.no i never raise it up and my car is pretty low..Just be sure to tell them if they cant jack it up,THEN DONT!

how do you guys place your jackstand without bending the little seam ridge that indicates the jackpoints?

I made the huge double wood piece.. Lucky at work, there is one super low mechanical jack arm and I used them for low car.. So I put the last arm in the rear stand point first and then raise up the rear.. Put the wood underneat and then lower the rear back down.. The 4 mechanical arms lay the floor complete and then put all four arms back into the jackstand point.. Then raise up the car up in the air for doing oil change, rims swaps, and look underneat to make sure nothing is broke..

I use a small 2x4 block with a slit cut into it to fit into the seam

Eastwood makes these for your jack, but it wouldn't be difficult to adapt them to a jackstand.

Here's what I use all the time for ramps to get the jack under the car:

Bought the wood at Lowes, had them cut it for me, screwed and glued it at home.

It looks like the rim might have hit the fender a few times.

Yeah, I was <$10 at Lowes. Just call me cheap. Until I buy tires, then I spend money like water.
