Scrape on bottom front bumper

the single downside to driving a car that's low. underside scrapes are tolerable, but when those scrapes lead to cracks and disfigured parts of a lip or even the bumper itself, then its a problem. my IS has been scraped constantly on the underside, and i so badly want to get it repainted. the only reason why i dont is because of what others have already said, and that is that nobody will see the underpart of a car unless you raise it to have work done (exhaust, adding a body kit, etc.). i was even considering running sandpaper for the entire underside just to get rid of the paint. i dont know why it was even painted down there to begin with.

i scraped the bottom of my stock lip. i just touch up painted the scratches i could see from a standing position.
