Dont know if anyone cares, but I had a chance to recently try a number of different 194 bulbs.

1. Putco LED 360
2. Polarg J60 4800k
3. V-leds 2W flank style
4. New v-leds 2w 194

They all dim identically.

the Polarg 4800 is definitely a good match for the OEM HID, so that will be replacing my parking light.

The flank style 2W v-led bulbs are BRIGHT... way brighter than the putco led 360... actually the putco output is i believe similar to v-leds older stuff.

The new v-leds 2w 194 is even brighter.. if I guess i'd say maybe 10-20% brighter.

 

can you try the warden_jp ones and compare to the v-led ones?

sorry, i've got all the leds i need! dont need anymore! but based on the above video, the ones you are referring to I think are 1W and if they are anything like the 1W polargs I tested, they are quite a bit dimmer than the others i tried. but that might be your thing. if you want the brightest, the new v-leds ones are very bright. i dont have a light meter or anything, but the more i look at it, i think it's probably 30% brighter than even their older 194s which were already very bright.

i personally like the brighter lights.. it's surreal to have a tinted car where you can't see the interior, you unlock it and then all of a sudden it's like daylight inside!

 

Polarg all the way for me!! Piaa too, but Polarg!!!!

 

I have the Polarg and I like it the best of this group. Can be more $ but well worth it.

 

i vote for polarg as well but its pricey
