Default Replacing Front dome lights

The rear dome light cover pops out easily ... but I cant seem to figure out how to get at the front dome lights.... There is no place to pop out just the lens like the back, so i unscrewed the 2 screws in the sunglass holder. After removing the 2 screws, the front of the panel is loose, but something else is holding onto the panel towards the back... After a bit of tugging at it, I still couldn't get it free...

Anyone have a DIY?

Thanks!

hey ! the top of the panel is held onto the roof by 2 plastic clips. use a flat screw driver to open up some room then reach your fingers into it and just use force to pull it down. the first time it is a bit hard , you gotta use some strength. don't worry about breaking anything, you will be just fine!

hope this helps!

You can also pop out just the cover. There are two spots where u can carefully wedge a small screw driver and pry out. The two spots are where the sort of pointy ends are. You will see where you can pry, a small quarter inch wide cutout (similar to rear dome) on the flat section. Be careful and go easy, lightly pry each side and go back and forth till it swivels out loose.
