Wow. I just replaced a bulb after 2 1/2 years. Didn't even think to ask the dealer. I just bought another Phillips bulb on eBay.
I did a quick search here and found that a couple people got theirs done under warranty so my g/f called our dealer and was able to get it covered. Again, she's still within the factory warranty.

That was my impression that HID bulbs were supposed to last a while too. I'm somewhat surprised to see all the people with cars 1-2 years old on here that have bulbs going out on them...
