I have a 09 Is250 with almost 60k and my battery is done, would this be covered under warranty?

My battery seems weak. Car didn't start but the lights are fine and BlueDriver OBD said battery was at 11.99V, so I tried a GooLoo jump starter. Engine turned over on the 2nd try. The battery is a standard Interstate from Costco, installed Feb 2023, but by the previous owner. Does anyone know whether Costco will honor a battery warranty if someone else bought the battery? I am a Costco member.

If Costco will not honor the warranty and I have to buy a new one, are the higher end batteries worth it? Thanks in advance for any advice.
