changing the bulbs will only change the color of the light output as oem fog lights use 9006 halogen bulbs, you will have to install a 9006 HID conversion kit to get HID fogs.
Correct! I'm using the Xtreme 6300K HID conversion kit from Xenon Depot. If you want the best light output, you can't beat HIDS. Halogens is the cheapest and quickest route. It's plug and play.
damn all this headlight/fog light stuff is a hassle -___- i just wanted to keep the oem hid and change the day light light yellow or blue and change the fog lights to yellow or blue what do u guys think is the best and easy way?

however, don't expect the same light output from halogen fog lights as you would get if you decided to go w/ a HID conversion kit for your fog lights.
