I seem to be starting a lot of threads about me being confused, sorry for the noobness..

I just spoke with my lexus parts guy. He tells me that the 2010 ground effects/body kit is not available... he also goes on to tell me that he's reluctant to order the 2009 kit for me since he can't be sure it will fit and it won't be refunded if it doesn't fit. He said the body kit might not be made available for 6 or more months down the road.

So here's my question. WTF. Does this guy know what he's talking about? I can't understand why Lexus would not make the kit available until many months down the road.

Second question... I'm probably going to have the car lowered on 20 inch 8.5 and 10's... will a ground effects kit enhance the look or is it going to be too much? If I do decide to go with the body kit, is it a hassle to put it on after the other wheel mods?

 

1. barring an unannounced facelift, the 2009+ gfx kit should fit on 2010 2is's. also, aside from the 2006-2008 gfx front lip, the rest of the gfx kit should fit (side skirts, rear bumper lip).

2. the gfx kit is designed to add a more subtle yet sportier look to the 2is, but should not create clearance issues (unless you botch the install...).
