That sucks, especially when your coming out of pocket. I should know. Full coverage is a must when driving a luxury car

Sorry for the misfortune,
I was on the I5-S yesterday at about that time. Traffic was insane! I always try to keep at least a 2 car distance from everyone some people love to react last second so I give myself some braking space. Well hope it gets as good as new although you should have gotten it towed.

Best of luck to you & your car.

sucks that it happened, but be grateful that car is sturdy/safe enough so that you weren't severely injured (or so it seems)

that same sort of thing happened to us many years back in our nissan quest mini van. We were the "rover" in the analogy, and another small sedan hit us from behind. sedan's front was just destroyed, our minivan had a small bump.

nissan quests are sturdy as hell

It's all about the 2 second rule guys. Use the lane dividers to count out 2 seconds to make sure you're at a good distance.

if some ******* is tailgating me from behind (which is rather frequently) I up it to 3 seconds to accommodate the tailgater.

Thanks for the support guys, I'll post some pics after I get it fixed...

-I drove it home while it was heating, but I took breaks when the needle went high
-Camry was there because my friends came to see how bad my car had gotten.
-I was exhausted from school, it was bump-to-bump LA traffic at 7-8pm!! and I just dozed off a second -_-

Sorry to hear about the accident. Just curious on how fast you were going. From the damage, it seems you were going a decent speed. It's terrible that your insurance isn't going to help you with the damage. I agree with montgb, it is time to upgrade or change your insurance company. Hopefully you're able to find the parts you need at a local junkyard and the IS will be up and running in no time. Good luck with the process.

ouch that looks terrible. i can't believe you tried to drive it home after that accident tho. you should try to paint your parts at the same time you get your car repaired. the bodyshop might cut you a deal since they'll already have the paint mixed.
