Mine's nude with just my gym card attached. Any cover used would create bulkiness, which is a pain the *** since I wear slacks everyday. I wish the smartkey was slightly thinner like the BMW fob. At least it's not as huge as the Mercedes Smartkey.

i use a black rubber jacket like the ones in your second link, they dont add much weight or bulkyness and it protects it quite well, not a single scratch on my key yet, so im happy

No one responded about programming the smartkey. Is this something we could do ourselves if we ordered one from Sewell?

i use the regular black leather case that it came with from the dealership... but i might take it off soon and just leave it nude. the case makes it too bulky. plus its pretty chewed up. my dog gets a kick outta chewing my keys ......

nope, the dealer is the only one who can program the keys, call all your dealers in your area and shop for the best price, it doesnt take more than 5 mins to do it, but many dealers charge from half of hour to an hour of labor.

I have the Sewell ones. They are nice quality, but make the fob a lot bigger. Still very nice. Mine are black. The other colors are interesting.
