To me that reads "Hot TRD."

Maybe you shouldn't jump to conclusions.

 

TRD as in Toyota? I know Lexus and toyota are owned by the same company but what does TRD have to do with lexus? Not being an *** but really want to know...

 

TRD as in Toyota Racing Development, I think. I went to get a quote for the F-sport exhaust/intake for my IS, and on the quote sheet they were listed as "TRD/F-sport" parts...maybe they made some parts for Lexus?

Although there isn't as much for the 2IS consumers, I know that is300 people had a lot of TRD options for their car, which were pretty expensive and quality products... like for example, the carbon fiber TRD hood was close to $2k, in compare to a Seibon carbon fiber hood for our cars being under $1k.

If you order F sport parts for your car, you can actually see they are made by TRD lol. Say so on the shipping label

 

The car in that picture looks like an IS-C...
"F-Sport" is a creation of TRD USA. Basically the new version of "TRD" for the Lexus market.
