Thank You for all the welcomes. Another question I've thought of. When I replace the factory sub with an aftermarket (I like ALOT of bass), will I have any type of control over the aftermarket subs thru the OEM radio or would I only be able to turn the sub up / down via the new amp that will be powering it?

Congrats on your new purchase. Welcome to the IS family. You won't regret your you decision.

You only have a few days left to take advantage of the deal from Sewell. The "sport pedals" will be a good addition. F-Sport springs are good. Although you have some miles on your car, you don't necessarily need to get new shocks yet. I would suggest saving up more $$$$ and getting some coil overs instead. Then you won't have to worry about replacing your stock shocks down the road.

Whatever you decide, I'm sure it wil be fine. This forum is very informative, you'll find all your answers here, just do a search. If not, just ask.

Good luck on your inspection, hopefully everything will turn out well.

Car got past inspection fine. I went ahead and added an extended warranty to cover anything major for 4/100,000 miles whichever comes first. I should pick up the car tomorrow.

Right now I'm gonna order the F-Sport Lowering Springs and the Silver Pedals while I can get them on sale at Sewell. Thanks for the help and advice. If anyone can answer the other questions I've asked throughout the thread please do.

Get the rear sway bar while it's on sale. This is one of the best mod's you can put on your car. You won't be disappointed. Post up some pix when you take delivery. GL

Ahhhh, I was considering the sway bar as well, but buying the warranty was unexpected and put me in a hole. I really shouldnt spend that much right now BUT, I do know a good deal when I see one. Since I'm new to the community, how often does a sale like this take place?

Picked up my car today and I'm in LOVE. Was about a 100 mile drive back to my place and it flew by.

I do have a question though. How can I tell if I have the sport suspension. I am pretty sure I dont have the sport pacakge because I dont have the metal pedals, however the car does have the 18 inch rims. I'm thinking the previous owner got the luxury package and added the rims but how can I also tell if they added the sport suspension. (If it has it I wont order the F-Sport springs, if it doesnt I will).
