i started working as a freelance installer...
checkout the pics of a few jobs we did on sunday.
i've been planning to do the roof of my mini for a while now.
planned all week to do it today.
come today though, i'm somehow talked into doing a friends daily.

i'm not to up on my subaru speak, but its one of the pretty older ones.

midway through the day, my friend showed up in his 2 hour old miata.
the rear piece was rhinolined with some crap.
we sanded what hadn't chipped off and applied the wrap there.

You seem to have alot of practice with the wrap.Very clean job on all of the cars. I think it looks good from both close and far.

I usually am the one to say "this IS isnt such a "luxury" car as most luxury cars" when other IS owners, who view their car as a true luxury car, might not like some of my modifications.

That being said. I, personally, would not consider putting fake carbon fiber or fake anything on my lexus. Possibly for interior trim but even as tempting as it is and as close to the real thing as it may look, I always end up deciding I'll spring for the real CF goods even if it means waiting to save up more money in the mod piggy bank. I'm not even fond of plain colored roof wraps. I'd sooner find a good, affordable, painting connect, you'd be surprised at the quality of work and affordability you can find from local independent painters

Of course one should do what they like but I think putting imitation materials on a nice car like a lexus does not do it justice. I think the point is to upgrade. Not just the look but also the quality of products. Some vehicle manufacturers ...CF wrap would be an upgrade. Not a lexus IMO. While some can not like another's choice of modifications...everyone knows fake material from real material.

I just picked up a big vinyl cutter last week! I plan on making all type of random things from this stuff..It is crazy expensive compared to normal vinyl though

example...

A regular 10yd roll is $15-$30. This stuff is like $115-$125 for a 48" by 48" square!!

3M says it can withstand desert heat and sun for nearly 6 years, and almost unlimited indoor use.

I'm stoked to wrap just about everything i can. Toilet, random garage items, my roof, prosthetic limbs.....
